Great Clips

I had a terrible experience at Great Clips today. I checked in online and arrived at 7:20 p.m., about 40 minutes before closing. The stylist gave me a huge hassle, refusing to even start the haircut because I was late. He explicitly said he didn’t want to cut the top of my hair because of that. When he finally did, it was a disaster—he ignored all my requests, and it felt like a pity favor. I should have checked the reviews before going—this place does not deserve any stars. Definitely not coming back, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.

My experiences here have been a bit hit or miss. I started coming here in early 2024, and my absolute favorite stylist was Josey, I genuinely miss her so much. She was the only person who consistently gave me an amazing haircut and truly understood how to do layers, especially for men with thick hair. Ever since she left this location, my haircuts just haven’t turned out the way I hoped. Josey really knew what she was doing, and I still find myself wondering where she’s working now because I desperately need good layers again. If the owner happens to read this, it would be an absolute game changer if you could share where Josey is working now or how to contact her. Ruined my Thanksgiving. My hair is literally lopsided in the back and has long uneven stray pieces in the front! I went in for a simple basic cut and asked the younger woman for a few inches to be taken off, since I'm growing out my old color. After the cut, I put it up in a ponytail, the way I usually wear it, and left. For the extended holiday get-together, I blew it out and it seems off in the mirror, but I said to myself, maybe it's because it's a new cut. NOPE!! It was a HORRIBLY UNEVEN cut and my friends and family all noticed and asked who butchered my hair and why was it so crooked in the back. Mortifying. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I've tried to call twice today to let them know, and no answer - goes to vm. SMH.

Sun19thOct visit.Spanish lady with gray hair- Im sorry but she should not be working there- or - someone gotta teach her to listen to what customers are asking for- if she cant do it then she should do something else. We showed a picture of what style we want ,she completely ignored and did a plain army style haircut. She did the same to another kid- completely ignoring what the kids parents asked. She was asked to do skin-fade, she completely ignores and cuts the sides #2!!!!?!?!?!Her total ignorance is unbelievable. Giving 5 stars to Jennifer who gets it right all the time always kind and welcoming.

I really wish I had read the reviews before stepping into this place. My mother is on vacation and wanted to get her hair washed and blow-dried. She usually goes to Great Clips, so she was quite excited. However, upon her arrival, the lady informed her that she could wash her hair but not actually blow dry it. What kind of salon operates like this? How are they still in business? The reason she couldn’t wash my mother’s hair was simply because she was lazy! They need to hire better staff! She didn’t even want to brush my mother’s hair or wash it properly. I will never take my mother back there again. They’ve lost a customer.
