Great Clips

It’s Saturday at 5:54. I’m standing in front of the store that I allowed me to check in online ten minutes ago…and the guy locked the door and said they were closed. Why was I allowed to check in at 5:45 online if they close at 6? And why, for a simple haircut trim, are they not letting me in. I’m there was still 6 minutes until closing. No other customers were in the store.

I needed a hair cut on July 4, and I found a Great Clips that was open. Most other Great Clips were closed. It was near Kimball road off hwy 114 and 121 .... I guess Colleyville or Grapevine Texas. My normal Great Clips is in North Arlington. I use the app. With the app you can get your place in line and wait for your turn in the car. They will text you when to come in.

I’ve been coming to this Great Clips location for more than a year (I live 3 minutes away), and I will not be coming back here again. I received a haircut from Angel (lady with the green hair), and I suspect that she was intoxicated. She avoided all eye contact, the conversation was basically non-existent (except a few odd responses to my questions), and she seemed pretty uncoordinated. Initially, I thought maybe she was just having a rough day, but seeing her lose her balance while walking back to the front desk confirmed my suspicion that she was under the influence. I’ve noticed her in there before and she was very talkative and energetic… Definitely not this time. Super awkward and uncomfortable haircut experience. Incredibly tired of coming to places within business hours, while they have giant OPEN signs on, to find that the doors are locked and nobody is inside. It is almost two hours past business open.

honestly, I am not happy with the experience. I usually have had some good experiences over the past 2 years but I had the hairstylist on the phone(personal cell). After it was over, I was not exactly happy with it, but it is just hair it grows so I can’t be upset. At the end of the haircut when I was paying for the service I had insisted on giving a tip and I said not today. As I was getting on my bike to get home, the guy comes out of the salon and asks me why I did not tip! I said I just did not want to because I was not necessarily happy and service was not entirely the “5 star” experience. He tells me that it is people like me that make employees feel like trash. I have worked food service and retail! I understand the frustration over lack of tips but I have never thrown a fit over t
