Reed is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. His attention to detail is exceptional, and he takes the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for before he ever picks up the clippers. You never feel rushed, and the precision in his work shows. What really sets him apart is consistency. Every cut is sharp, clean, and tailored to you. He blends flawlessly, lines everything up perfectly, and makes sure you leave looking better than you expected. Beyond the skill, he’s professional, easy to talk to, and creates an environment that makes you want to come back. So I'm in from Phoenix for a few days and I hit up Close Knit Barbershop in Grapevine yesterday and Rojo hooked me up with a killer haircut. Dude is a great listener—told him what I wanted and he delivered it perfectly, nothing extra. Place is spotless, like military clean. Solid spot, 10/10, Rojo's the man!

I got a recommendation to this place thru my wife's friends. Ryan did a great job with my hair and beard, and it was a great experience. He cut my hair, trimmed my bear, and shaved my neck and cheeks with a straight razor. No itch or razor burn afterward. I'm about to be a regular here.

Ishmael was fantastic, he was meticulous and detailed. He listened to what I wanted and got me exactly there. One of the best beard clean ups I’ve ever had. Shop is a great atmosphere and really couldn’t be happier with the result. Will be back.

Juke performs his craft with an almost mythic precision. Though my scalp is a barren wasteland, devoid of hair as if time itself has conspired to strip it clean, my beard still finds sanctuary in the ritual of Close Knit. There, the barbering becomes not mere grooming, but an affirmation of existence—accompanied by conversation that drifts between profundity and absurd laughter. It is a tragedy that geography denies me regular communion with this place. And so, when I return to visit my family, securing an appointment is not an option—it is an existential necessity. S/F
