Great Clips

I've been going here for a little over a year and never a problem. I was getting shaggy and my beard was beginning to look like a ZZ Top member. Amanda, who've I had a couple of times did a bang up job. Very nice and thankfully, not too talkative- I've been to places where the person will talk your ear off, mostly about politics or sports (Yawn). Prices may be a little high on some things, but that seems to be the case everywhere these days. Recommended.

What happened at Great Clips in Gilford, NH yesterday morning was absolutely unacceptable, especially for a business that works with children. My four-year-old son left his appointment with multiple cuts on his head. Kylie—the stylist responsible—only pointed out one small cut, and we later found a large, obvious, painful-looking cut that she didn’t bother to mention. For any parent, this is alarming. Haircuts should be safe. Kids should not leave bleeding. Instead of showing concern, Kylie immediately tried to blame the cuts on my son having “sensitive skin.” My child has been getting haircuts since he was one year old and has never been injured like this. The women working in Gilford NH do a great job cutting hair. The manager was rude and not very friendly. We will no longer go to Great Clips i Gilford.

Kudos to Darlene who gave me the best haircut I've had in a long time. Ask for her. You wont regret it.

Brought my son in like I always do to get his haircut. This one was specifically for back to school the next day. I only gave 2 stars because the lady that greeted us was nice and she was the only one to try and help. The girl that was originally supposed to cut his hair immediately had an attitude. Told me that their system is showing the last cut being November. I told her that’s incorrect and it’s been sooner than that. She said “nope paper right here says November”.
