Great Clips

I usually get a decent haircut at a decent price but I find the check-in policy ridiculous. Once again, I sat outside the store for 15 minutes waiting in my car and at the last second five other people ran up to the door and then by the time I get in, there's a 30 minute wait even though I already waited 15 minutes, and for some reason, the online check-in opens 5 minutes AFTER the store opens. It really seems it should open 10 minutes before the store, or that there should be a ticket number you can grab ahead or something. It's a very frustrating system, but the rest of the day it works fine... It's only poorly set up for the first appointments of the day.

I went in to get my hair and bangs trimmed. The first photo is what it looked like after my first cut. Totally slanted and one side was way shorter than the other. Then in the middle my bangs were longer. They also came out super choppy and the layers look awful. I went back to see if they could fix them but there wasn’t much they could do. Blamed it on my colic. 😭 The third photo is me back in July after I got my bangs cut by a different great clips location down in Missouri. As you can see, they came out completely fine even with my colic, so I know it’s not that. I genuinely don’t understand how they messed them up that bad. I literally can’t stand looking at myself in the mirror. For the next few weeks I’ll be wearing beanies to cover it up. It’s just embarrassing. I understand “hair

I usually go to great clips in Lake Hallie but I decided to go to the one on mall drive because it is closer to my house. I have never had a bad experience until I went to this one. I told her I wanted long bangs that started at my cheek and go down from there. She proceeded to cut my bangs at a half and inch and go down from there. I also told her I wanted my hair straight edged layered. She proceeded to not do that either and my layers ended up being super choppy. It was an all around horrible experience. Especially now my hair looks like crap because my bangs want to curl and are so short I can't do anything with them beside Bobby pin them up, wear a headband, or wear a hat. Wont be going back to that one. I have had people who are in school do a better job.

Easy to get to, no hassle check in, decent cuts, good price. Pretty easy to recommend for regular haircuts.
