Great Clips

After giving my number, a soft spoken young lady noted my wife’s name and again I gave my name, she said “Okay” then said you want 4” off and I, who clearly don’t have two inches of hair said “huh?” She repeated herself and I said never mind to which she replied “Okay.” Jeez!

My 9yo daughter was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and wanted to get her hair shampooed, trimmed, and bangs. We were treated rudely from the minute she sat in the chair. First, we were told the salon was short staffed so they were not doing shampoos. How do you refuse to provide a service you charge for? I did not ask for a free shampoo. I was more than willing to pay the $10 charge for shampoo. We were the only people in the salon besides one other man waiting for a haircut. Then the hair stylist gave us a hard time about giving her bangs due to her hair being curly. After she trimmed her entire head of hair, she accused my daughter of having nits (lice) so she was going to need to stop cutting her hair---funny this happened right before she was supposed to cut the bangs. I

I love the manager here, Samantha. She has cut my hair for a few years now. I followed her from the Macintosh Plaza location and she has never given me a bad cut. Here's the thing about Great Clips; this is a chain salon that provides a non biased workplace for qualified stylist to work without the bigotry and click environment that is typical of private run salons. The stylist at Great Clips don't compete with each other to hold onto regulars and the environment shows that. However that does not mean that if you have a preference you cannot request your preferred stylist. Here's what I do. The week I'm planning on getting a cut I call the salon and see when my stylist is working. Then the day that both our schedules align I check-in online about a half hour before I want a cut. I go in

Taylor is awesome. Very thorough and takes the time to get the cut you want while also making sure it’s going to align with your job, favorite hairstyles, etc. helped me understand how to help my hair better and she also give a mean hair wash:))

Anna who was the stylist for me was a amazing person and I'm glad she got my hair cut done right. Even the employees were willing to chat with me about positive things during the haircut! I love going here and I love Great Clips! Thank you again and thank you to Anna for being my customer. You're the best guys ❤️🙏 Keep up that amazing work.
