Gramatan Barber Shop

Great classic barbershop. I've been going here for about 10 years. Sam and Steve are awesome and I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're local. Parking is a little rough but you can always find a spot in the parking lot about a block away.

I walked in and told Sam that I had just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new barber. Told him that I went somewhere else close by first a few weeks ago and they didn't do a great job, so he was up next. I explained that the last guy cut it shorter than I wanted. I told him I wanted a #5 fade on the sides and just a little trim on top because I have curly hair I like to leave it a little longer up top and wear gel in it. He started to shave the sides and by the time I realized it was way too late. I don't know if I ended up with #1 or a #2 but it was WAY shorter than I asked. He then proceeded to cut the top down so short it took all of my curls off. To top it off he styled it in a way my curly hair should never, ever be styled. Like a 7 year old boy with a part. Wow! That's all I can say after getting my first haircut from this barbershop. I left my previous one because it seemed like they were giving me the same old haircut without listening to what I wanted. But from the moment I stepped into this barbershop I really felt like they cared about what I wanted. I had Steve as my barber and he did exactly what I wanted done with my hair, while at the same time offering advice on what he thought was best. I will for sure be getting my next haircut here.

This was my first time here, Sam took me right away. I explained how I wanted my haircut. Sam did exactly what I said. The finished product was great, I was very happy with my haircut, I defenately recommed this place. Price was very fair also, $20.00 .

Solid, classic barber shop. You don't come here for a fashionable haircut but they know what they are doing. I like to come here for a shave and some grooming. The interior could use a redo but none of the gentlemen I met there seemed to care.
