Grace Barber Shop

The place is dirty!! Smelled like smoke. Walked in not acknowledged until I said something. Customer service is not here. Barber (the owner) sitting on a chair with hair clippings from long gone previous customer just laying on floor. The place looks like it hasn't seen a mop in years or good cleaning. This shop looks like it was put together from second hand furniture, nothing matches. The haircut was nothing special. He didn't mess it up. Price is comparable to other barbershops. Cash business. ATM onsite Plenty of parking There are too many options nearby to settle for a place like this. I will return to this place in a couple of months to see if it is any different and update my review.

Speaking up as a friend of someone who recently had a terrible experience here — and I’ve heard similar complaints from others too. My friend was only six minutes late to his appointment, and the owner completely disrespected him. He spoke in a rude, unprofessional tone and acted like my friend didn’t even deserve to be in the shop. So, out of principle, my friend walked out and refused to let him cut his hair. What’s frustrating is that this same barber has been 15–20 minutes late multiple times to my friend’s appointments — with no apology, no explanation, and just expects people to be okay with it because he owns the place. I showed up 6 minutes late to my appointment, and the owner acted completely disrespectful and rude about it. He talked to me like I wasn’t a paying customer, so I decided not to even let him cut my hair. What’s crazy is that there have been multiple times he’s made me wait 15-20 minutes past my scheduled time with no apology — just expects it to be okay because he’s the owner. Truth is, he has no respect for people’s time unless it’s his own. No other barbers work there anymore, and now I see why. He even had the nerve to ask me for $200 once to help pay his bills — that’s not how you run a business. Unprofessional and a bum mentality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Been coming here since my first cut. Ray is super professional with blessed hands. Glad he's my barber because he always gets it right! Give this shop a shot, you won't be disappointed.

What’s crazy is that the same owner has made him wait 15–20 minutes on several occasions and acted like it was no big deal — probably because he owns the shop. But that doesn’t give you a pass to treat people however you want. To make things worse, this guy doesn’t have any employees left, and even asked my friend for $200 to help pay his bills. That’s not just unprofessional, that’s wild. Save your time and money. There are way better barbers out there who respect their clients.
