Golden Soul Salon

I have been going to Golden Soul for over 10 years. I’m a twice annual basic cut girly, except for this one time when I got some subtle fall low lights & highlights. Nicole & her team are thoughtful, caring and provide the utmost quality customer service to make you feel comfortable. Not only are they lovely people, they are incredibly talented hair professionals. At GS you can get anything from basic cuts & perfect natural colors, to weird, wild and wonderful (I’ve seen it all) there is someone on their team who can do it for you. My husband and I both go here. Oh and let’s not forget the best part, the wash room is a rainforest meditation dreamscape that makes your hair appointment feel like a spa date. Drool. The whole salon also has a very pretty and warm aesthetic.

I took too long to write this review, but Melissa gave me THE best bob haircut I have ever had in my life. So good in fact, that even after washing and styling it myself it still does exactly what I want to do. Absolutely amazing. The salon itself is very comfortable and clean, and the front desk attendant/receptionist was very friendly as well. I wish they had, maybe, a seating area for guests to sit, but for the price and quality I would sit and wait on the sidewalk. And they validate parking :’)

I went to Golden Soul for the very first time and let me tell you… the moment I walked in I felt such an earthy vibe and felt so welcomed. I booked with Melissa and she was extremely nice. I showed her my inspiration photos and that I was ready for my transformation cut. She was so excited which made me super excited too! I loved her enthusiasm with getting this cut. She walked me throughout the process which I really liked. One part that was so different than other salons was the hair wash area. You walk in and immediately felt at peace. I could seriously sleep in there. Overall, Melissa did an amazing job! Everyone loved the haircut once I was done. I felt soooo great leaving the salon! I’m definitely coming back and recommending to all my friends!

Ellie styled my hair and it was a wonderful experience! My hair looked exactly the way I wanted and Ellie has a really fun and calming energy that made feel so comfortable. Also, the dark room where you get your hair washed is such a vibe - truly a unique and relaxing experience in there.

this haircut was the best experience i’ve ever had!! from the hair washing experience to the actual cutting and styling- even paying was super easy. i went from long raggedy hair to shorter than i’ve had in 15 years. best. decision. ever. it took a lot of trust from me, considering i haven’t had a cut in 10+ years, but it was worth every bit of it. i felt very comfortable in the hands of javier and he clearly knows how to transform hair from meh to getting compliments DAILY! this beautiful and comforting salon will be my goto from here on out. thanks for saving my hair!! forever grateful! oh, by the way- the parking wasn’t difficult at all and they give really great instructions on where to park! 10/10 experience
