Gold Dust Hair Studio

Since relocating to Texas five years ago, I have been searching for a salon to finally call home, and I am so happy to say I found it at Gold Dust Salon in New Braunfels. From the moment I walked in, the owner, Renee, greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. She is warm and inviting. The salon is gorgeous and beautifully styled. My stylist, Taylor, was amazing. She was easy to talk to and made my hair look perfect. I left feeling confident, comfortable, and so happy with my experience. I am grateful to have found such an amazing salon and look forward to returning.

Abby did a amazing job on my hair! She came up with a great solution for me to put 2 vivid colors throughout my hair without needing to bleach it all and damaging it too much. My hair still felt healthy afterwards and she made it look amazing afterwards with a blowout even though she was fighting against it drizzling out and a lot of humidity. She was very sweet and the atmosphere of the whole salon felt very inviting and warm. The prices definitely depend on what you’re having done so a little hard to put a price bracket tbh.

She truly listened to my concerns and vision for my hair, offering thoughtful options that fit my style and lifestyle. She even took a before photo for reference and took detailed notes about my preferences and maintenance routine. An added bonus—she has experience cutting curly hair, which made me feel completely confident in her expertise. I can’t wait for my upcoming appointment to see her work her magic!

Meagan is amazing with cut and color. I absolutely love how she rescued my hair. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made a plan for the next appt to see how the color would look in 3 months time and re-evaluate the timeline to get high lights. She wasn’t trying to make a quick buck and do something on my hair that wouldn’t turn out. She truly cared about the final result and what I wanted to accomplish. See the before and after photos.
