Jessika is the Owner of GMG styles and she has been doing me & my daughters hair for years!!! everytime i have a specific style i want done she goes above and beyond on me and my daughters hair😍😍😍 her hair prices are so reasonable and she has the best hair products in chico for your hair!!! she also sales braiding hair in diffrent colors which is hard to find in Chico... You can tell she is really passionate at what she does!! Yall book with her ASAP you wont be disappointed 😊😊

Yeah no. I gave this girl a shot because she was cheaper and it taught me a very important lesson. Asked for blonde, she knew she didn’t have enough and instead of telling me just decided to give me half black half blonde hair. Ripped out so much of my natural hair that I have been trying to grow forever, even after I told her to be gentle. So much product I couldn’t even have the hair touch my seat. I took them out same night because they were straight up SO THICK AND UGLY. When I texted her and asked for a refund because I didn’t get what I wanted, and if I was gonna fix it (I usually do my own hair) I would have to buy hair, she just blocked me on all platforms with no resolutions. I’ve never experienced such a lack of professionalism and respect from any braider. DO NOT COME HERE!!

We always have a great experience every time my daughter gets her hair braided here! The vibe is always positive and welcoming—whether it’s good music, friendly conversation, or just a relaxing atmosphere, it makes the time fly by. The braids always come out clean, neat, and exactly how she want them. She gets so many compliments! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great work and good energy.
