Gloria's Beauty Salon

This was an extremely upsetting experience. As I approached the business, the woman looked out the window, saw me, and immediately locked the door before I even reached it. I stood there for over a minute before she opened it, already yelling “No” without giving me a chance to speak. I had misread the sign, thinking it was a beauty supply store, but that doesn’t excuse the hostile and dismissive treatment I received. As a Black woman, I truly felt profiled and unwelcome—it was clear her actions were racially motivated. There’s no excuse for this kind of behavior in a public-facing business. I see why there were no customers and she was standing around just chit chatting with a gentleman. If you value respect and basic human decency, I recommend going elsewhere.

Best MALE haircuts in the Northside of Houston from Jeanette (Gloria's daughter). All jokes aside for 8 bucks, her fades come out fresh-- better than "Clipper Joint" and all the other over-priced junk spots. The Salon is very clean and family-oriented. Been a regular there for 4 years and never had a 'let-down', Jeanette always faded me up to my best. HANDS DOWN.

This place is unprofessional. Gloria and her daughter do not know how to cut hair. Everytime I come here they always mess up my haircut. I don't think they know what a fade is Everytime my fade is messed up. They need to take this place down because of how they work. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I came for a haircut they said they where close and could not take me while I always on my phone in my vehicle a guy pulled up and she opened the door for him. I will never come here again. You lost a potential customer

Would not recommend for women’s hair cut !!! For $15 it wasn’t worth having to go somewhere else to fix her mistake she left my hair all Choppy it looks like a kid cut my hair . Worst mistake ever!
