Glamour Nail Salon

My (soon to be) fiancée went to Glamour to get her nails done professionally before such a magical day as her engagement. However, what she received was an amateur, sloppy, poorly done and overpriced attempt at something she did not ask for. Even as someone who does not know nails, I can tell they look off. But to use her language, they look “grown out” as if the nails are weeks old. The nail tech did not file or trim or push back her cuticles and there is a significant gap between the base of the nail and her cuticle skin. Furthermore, she asked for a white chrome finish, which I have attached a picture of and she showed to the person who did her nails and instead she got a cheap looking clear glitter coat. There expensive for the area, expect upcharges. They don't seem to want to engage in conversation. I'm not sure if they don't speak English or just choose not to. Fine with me unless you would like one.

I went there at 1 pm in August. There was no air conditioning. The back door was wide open with no screen. A fly kept landing on my arm. There's a TV running and it's loud and not something I would want to watch. When you go to a spa you should have calm and relaxing music or the national geographic channel. The woman who was doing my pedicure didn't understand any English, she had to ask the owner to translate for me . The cheapest pedicure was $58. The mani-pedi was nice but too expensive. I asked the owner if she was sure that the leg waxing would work because my legs were slick after the pedicure. She said yes it would. I went home and then felt my legs. There were short hairs Left on my legs because it just ripped and broke the hair off instead of pulling it out. That was a waste of h

The staff are very friendly and nice, but I'd just be wary of the products used during manicures and pedicures. If you're sensitive to products, it may leave keratin granulations or white spots on your nails following removal or chipping of the polish.
