I made an appointment more than a week in advance and the reviews looked great online. But when I arrived for my appointment, there was no one at the front desk and seems to be only one person actually servicing. On top of that there were 4 people ahead of me, 2 waiting for a haircut. If I had the time to wait I would. But even after being asked to wait potentially an hour, there was no guarantee I would get my haircut. I would appreciate a more professional staff and courtesy call if my appointment couldn’t be made on time, especially for new customers or people unfamiliar with the practices at this salon. We go by reviews online so unfortunately I have to provide this review to ensure others do not experience long wait times or cancellations if they are the“scheduling” type.

Samir has been my hair dresser for 16 years. I moved to a different state, and I still travel 3 hours round trip to have my hair done by him. He is the only one who could handle my long hair with finess and professionalism. I get the best compliments from every one about how beautiful and silky my hair looks, every time I leave his hair salon.

Came in for a bleach fix and left looking exactly the same. I called ahead to ask if he would be able to tone out the brass tones in my at home bleach fail. Samir asked me to come in and said he can bring it back to a light brown. He washed my hair, used purple shampoo and then blow dried and curled it as if that would fix the color of it. He kept saying “once you take a few showers it’ll fade” or “once I curl it and you go out in the sun, it’ll look better” did not apply a single lightening or darkening product to my hair and asked for $75 but got $100 because I believed his word. Spent exactly 13 minutes on the entire process just for me to walk out with orange brassy hair. -5/10 HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do not ever trust this place to do business with. If i could rate 0. I would have! Only because of Hairdresser Samir who was negotiating the price with me even though he wasn't doing the hair color and treatment for me. He recommended me to go to Dubai salon to Hairdresser Osama as his hand was broken. He quoted a different price and promised me that he will give discount too but when i paid in the end. I paid the double! Basically I told Samir, I needed a darker/natural hair and asked him for few options. He told me to discuss it with Hairdresser Osama and he will do the rest. Later; after the hair color and treatment, he told me they have charged me for full hair color 700 + 700 for balayage + 600 for hair treatment. 2000 in total for the hair. Very underwhelming experience. Sister drove 40 minutes for a color fix and came back crying because of Samir. He did not do anything to change her hair color and she paid him $30 extra and expressed how important this was for her graduation. He let her leave looking exactly the same with more heat damage then before.
