My teenage son decided to get me out of his hair and have a professional start his locs. I was recommended the GLAM beauty shop by a coworker. We chose the stylist Danielle. Danielle has been so flexible with our schedule and has my son feeling confident with his new style. Additionally, my husband has also chosen Danielle as his stylist. The best thing of all is now my time is freed from having to do their hair!!

My experience was amazing. I came in with damaged Locs and they took care of me and got me together. Showing much love and appreciation to the shop and a special shout out to Malynda for tackling all this.

I love. The atmosphere I was met with whenever I walked in. I got my hair washed immediately (my stylist was Kia) and it has been literal years since I felt so relaxed while getting my hair washed by someone! I was sat down, and she started my loc retwist and crochet maintenance, very quickly, whereas im used to waiting at least 2 hours for my hair to be finished. I loved the experience, cant wait for my next appointment, and will recommend this to anyone and everyone who needs a hairstylist.

I have to write a review because of my bad experience. I had a 5 pm appointment that was changed to 6 pm by the stylist. Even after I arrived at 6 pm, I met my stylist doing someone else’s hair which I was surprised about. I waited a bit, and she started my hair shortly. After washing my hair, she made me sit with wet hair for over an hour while she made someone else’s hair. After she was done making someone else’s hair, she resumed mine and didn’t apologize for the delay or for booking two people at the same time. I don’t understand why stylists will have all these rules about coming late but don’t stick to them.

My bridesmaids and I had the team from glam do our hair and make up for my wedding. Janay, toy, Carole and Kia did such a great job and kept us entertained while we got ready. Everyone was happy with what they got, we all had a little bit of a different look which Janay kept super organized. I had originally tried to book services with “lux” because I got several recommendations to work with them however I found them to be discriminatory and incapable of working with textured hair. I am so glad we found glam and there are more than capable team
