I've had my braids done 3 times by Marie and each time I've been in love. She takes her time to make it perfect, and doesnt braid excruciatingly tight. There's no over booking and I've started on time each time. Price is good too. Love this place.

I personally feels more than comfortable. I trust Gissy because she been doing my hair for 25 yrs. Staff is a accomdating, warm and polite.

Jezel the owner is the only one I allow to touch my family's hair. Jezel has that magic touch. My child is extremely tender headed but there are no complaints when Jezel does her hair. I appreciate that.

Man truly happy to have Gissy and her team open up shop near me. Was in desperate need of a professional lock n twist hairstylist and Gissy has to be the best on Staten. Highly suggest this place to family and friends looking to get their Hair in order! All in all amazing work, and amazing team! I love everything about this place! The decor, the vibe, the staff are professional and friendly; Gissy (the owner), Marie and Shantal are the ones that I've encountered and it was pleasant! I really like that there are separate salon rooms in the back, really gives a one on one vibe. The place is clean and the prices are GREAT! (she accepts different forms of payment cash app, zelle, apple etc) They do locs, (including detox upon request) braids, hair color etc. Shantal is NICE with the braided styles! Plus I like that she's Dominican (diverse staff) Gissy takes her time with each client to ensure satisfaction and she really knows about real hair care; her passion is evident. I do not feel judged when I come here as I have felt going to other places. I think I've found my salon home, FINA
