Gino is a professional, old style barber who knows how to do Marine Corps haircuts PROPERLY. He's always great conversation and keeps the lively, wonderful Italian history of Highwood alive. I refuse to get my hair cut by anyone else. 🇮🇹✂️🤌🏻

I first came to Gino’s nearly a decade ago when I was 12 and he’s the only barber to cut my hair ever since. He is personable, professional, and polite. There’s no better barber in the north shore at his price point. Hell, I’ve lived in 4 different states and have been hard pressed to find a barber anywhere that cuts hair as good as Gino.

No need to chew my words! This guy is a virtuoso. He is NOT A barber but he IS THE BARBER! A real man's barber. No wishy washy salon but a good ole fashioned barber shop! Period. Since moving to the burbs after Covid and currently residing in Riverwoods, I have tried/experimented/changed on exactly 7 "hair cutters". Even gave a 2nd chance to some. Explicitly requested what I wanted to no avail, except this gentleman! He knew exactly what he was doing, impeccable with the scissors, no nonsense approach, obviously proud of his profession, jovial, conversational if you wish to, but man does he "know" how to cut & shape a hair! Reasonable prices, easy parking, homey atmosphere. Gino is the genuine McCoy. See if you can get appointment and you won't regret it.

Loved. Didnt have an appt and he was able to squeeze me. Great Barber joint. Loved the environment but most importantly Gino was grear and my girlfriend loved the cut.
