Great place for blowouts. Had hand surgery and couldn’t do my own hair. Finding Ginger StyleBar was a god send. I will continue to use the services even after recovery.

Took photos of how I wanted it styled—not a random photo. It was me with an updo done by my stylist at home so I’d have an example to show the stylist when in Santa Cruz for my son’s wedding. Epic fail. Looks terrible.

I was in Capitola for a wedding and I booked a blow-out with Alfredo. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking was easy, parking is convenient, and the salon is lovely and clean. It was, without a doubt, the most relaxing blow-out I've ever had. Alfredo has a very sensitive touch, and followed my direction perfectly. It was such a great style that a guest of a guest at the wedding (whom I had only just met) complimented me on it. I only wish I lived in the area, I'd see Alfredo every week!

For girls with curly/frizzy hair this is the place for you. All the stylist are friendly, professional and FAST. Everytime I’ve had my hair done I leave with beautiful tosseled beach waves. Shannon does a wonderful job. Very grateful for this cute style bar.

Sort of a long story; I wanted to get an updo. I was shocked that the price for an updo is $70 since I just wanted a little side bun but the lady there explained on the phone that it was more expensive than the regular wash,dry and style (which is $40) because updo's are much more work and require more time. I was in a pinch and had a big event so I decided to splurge. I arrived with my hair washed the night before since it holds better the next day and I sat down in the chair at 3:50, the stylist was good and my hair looked great however after I paid and walked out of the salon it was 4:12. It took 20 minutes for her to pin my hair in a side bun, of course I had to tip the stylist since she did a good job so I paid $80 for a 20 MINUTE STYLE. I am not one to complain but I am sorry that
