Gigi's Salon

I went to Gigi to fix a previous pixie cut I had gotten done by someone else, and I’m so glad I did! She immediately made me feel comfortable and gave amazing suggestions on how to make my cut look more feminine and flattering. Gigi really took her time perfecting every detail, and you can tell she truly cares about her clients. She also recommended dying my hair a beautiful dark copper color, and I’m SO glad I trusted her! It completely transformed my look and made such a big difference. I also have to mention how wonderful her mom was during the wash. She took her time massaging my scalp and made the whole experience so relaxing. I felt rejuvenated, my scalp felt amazing, and my hair smelled incredible afterward. Gigi and her mom make such a great team; sweet, reassuring, and so easy

This is a long overdue review. Gigi is really good with haircuts, however, you have to be careful with getting bleach done especially from a dark hair. The first time I got my hair bleached, some areas turned blue! But she said it will go away. But it wasn’t a good turnout. The second time I tried again, she left it too long and damaged my hair. She usually have couple of clients at the same time in addition to answering calls, which makes it difficult. She should consider hiring an assistant and being careful with bleaching hair next time.

Gigi is amazing. Coloring hair is not just about opening a bottle of dye or mixing and putting it on hair. It takes a true hair artist to get the color! My hair turns orange and yellow. She mixes colors to get it perfectly ash! Trust me , it’s not easy. I had been many places before finding Gigi! Our whole family goes now. Oh and the cut is amazing

I have had my hair extensions done by GiGi twice. I am about to go for my third installation. I have been getting extensions for greater than ten years. It’s definitely not something you do if you are looking for “healthy” hair. You will experience breakage. If you don’t take care of them, you can experience dreading when they drop. I get keratin bond extensions. It is rough on your natural hair. Especially if it’s fine texture like mine. Gigi is so gentle with the removal. My natural hair actually doesn’t look that bad when they’re removed. She has done an amazing job with the installations and removals she’s done. I am so happy I have found her. She will definitely get me as a repeat customer.

Gigi has been doing my hair for years- even before she owned her own salon. She takes care of your hair like it is her own - making recommendations to keep it healthy while coloring and highlighting every few months. She has done extensions in my hair for several months- and they are great! So, if you need a cut, style, color, healthy hair, or extensions- you can trust her. I wouldn't want to go to any other stylist. The environment while you are in the salon is relaxing and a bonus!
