Beware of the misogynist! I went in Saturday morning to get a quick haircut (I literally mean a quick cut since I already have a shaved head/buzz cut) just get lined and reshaped and was immediately told by the barber that “he doesn’t cut woman’s hair, only man’s hair, and to go find an esthetician to cut my hair”. I respectfully said OK and walked out. I wanted to make sure I wrote a review to warn others. I AM A WOMAN that proudly has a shaved head because it was my choice to choose this hairstyle. I would’ve loved to curse out that old man for being a misogynist but he is not worth my time. According to another review I read the old man doesn’t do a good job at haircuts therefore I’m glad he didn’t touch my hair.

Want the haircut George wants to give you? Go to George’s. Want the haircut you want? Go somewhere else. He flat out refused to do what I asked him to do, “I won’t be doing that.” After all, he’s been doing this for 60+ years and thinks he knows what’s right for everyone else. Unfortunately, his techniques haven’t been updated in as much time. Old school doesn’t begin to cover it. Ancient. Dinosaur, more like. If you’re looking for a classic barber chair, Fox News blaring on the TV and a 1950’s egocentric baser male archetype of being told how it’s done, go to George. For what it is, it’s not a terrible haircut. But like the shop, it will have his name written all over it.

I've been going to George for over 25 years. Friendly and he always remembers your name and the way you want your haircut. Does a great job and will trim your beard and eye brows at no extra charge.
