Overall, awesome old fashioned establishment. Have espresso or whiskey if you want some with your cut - even have a room in the back if you want to hang and have a few drinks while watching a game before or after your cut. Really just a high quality experience. They bring out the straight razor with warm foam / towel, which not everywhere does now adays but makes a big difference Went to Lian a few times now. Great haircut and good guy - get exactly what I’m looking for. Underrated trait for a barber but he has a really good gauge if you’re in the mood to talk or just want to close your eyes and relax in silence, which I personally appreciate a lot. All around 10/10 spot

Gentleman’s Barbershop is an awesome spot with great vibes and even better service. They always offer an espresso when you walk in, which is a really nice touch and makes the whole experience feel relaxed. Shoutout to Lian — he’s a fantastic barber. Super consistent, great attention to detail, and always nails exactly what I’m looking for. Easily one of the best cuts I’ve had. Highly recommend if you want a quality cut and a welcoming atmosphere.

This barber shop is one of the best you could go to! My usual barber, Lian, is very skilled and personable, he always leaves my hair looking great and I enjoy speaking with him. The other barbers I've had are also great at what they do and always give an excellent cut. The shop is nicely decorated, very clean, and they always take good care of you. I couldn't ask for anything more!

This spot has been absolutely amazing for our family. My son’s haircut looked perfect, clean stylish and handsome. Everyone here treats us like valued regulars which truly sets this place apart My husband is now getting his haircut here after years of trying every barbershop in Hoboken.
