Gatton's Barber Shop

I wish I could say this place is better. The staff is very friendly and the place has a nice small town feel to it. Unfortunately, the two times I’ve been there (with two barbers) have not been great. This time, the gal shaved the front of my hairline about halfway up my head without me asking for it. Nobody has done that before, and it made my hairline look worse. She also trimmed around my ears above my hairline inconsistently with the rest of my hairline. The first time was a little better, but still with quirks I’ve never had anyone do.

They were quick and did a great job. My only complaint is they didn't clean the floor in between clients. The barber was also wearing sandals, not a great choice when cutting hair.

Nice, friendly, traditional barbershop. Very clean, four chair shop. There are usually at least two barbers working whenever I go. With a few exceptions, I have never had to wait more than 15 - 20 minutes to get my hair cut. They always do a great job trimming my hair for a very reasonable price.

This is THE barber shop to go to if you want a clean cut to your exact specifications. They have personalized service i.e. they remember your name and your cut. Very flexible hours. Reservations only and cash only but that's a small price to pay for some of the best service you can get. I'd tell you who I book with but then she'd be too busy. Go check it out for yourself and you'll find a place to return to the rest of the time you're in the area!

This place is great. The people are nice, quick and give great haircuts. They are great with kids too. You should call and make an appointment though. They do do walk ins, but you might have to wait awhile, as they stay booked pretty steady. A days notice seems good most everytime I call.
