Gateway Barbershop

Excellent, locally owned barbershop in the East Valley! This is their newest location at Higley and Pecos. The vibe is awesome - super chill and clean. Great music playing and always something good on TV, too. Really like this new location. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Definitely will be back. The staff is great. Very accommodating and helpful. Easy to chat with and they make sure they know exactly what you want. Shoutout to Jenny! She was fantastic. Haven't like a haircut this much in a long time. Highly recommend her and Gateway!

Gateway Barber Shop always provides a clean cut for my son. The owner knows his clients/patrons and makes everybody feel welcome and valued. Jenny is choice when it comes to the cut my son likes, she does an excellent job every time. Classy yet comfortable environment..... this is why we dont go anywhere else for kids/mens cuts. **10/10**

Stumbled across this barber shop when trying to find an actual "non kids" spot for our son who is 5 to get his hair cut. These guys were super nice. I love that I can schedule an appointment with Cesar online and add it to my calendar. We were originally at the Power and Williams Field location but moved with Cesar to Pecos and Higley, new location, super clean. Only thing I wish they had better was comfy chairs for us Moms to chill in!

Best barbershop in town! Everyone is super friendly from the moment you walk in till you leave. Extremely clean and modern inside. They take pride in their work. Don’t go anywhere else!

Safe to say this is my first and last time... to begin with, you have no signage or services list or prices. I had to ask if they do straight razor and for a hot towel AFTER I noticed the beard steamer and asked if they were going to use it, she said no because they just got it. OK whatever... I even told her my previous barber used one, which would tell you I like them. Then, while trying to swat all of the flies and keep them from landing on my face she actually took a 5 minute phone call in the back and decided to swing my chair to stare at the front door instead of letting me continue to watch the football game... speaking of swinging in the chair...
