Gail’s Family Hair salon

I’m here for the winter and was a bit nervous to go to a hair stylist I’m not familiar with but I am pleased to say I had a wonderful experience here. My hair was at an in between stage and I explained what I wanted to Gail and she had a great recommendation - she is very pleasant and professional. I walked away happy with my colour and style -yes!

This is truly the spot to be! Anytime I step into the salon I am always greeted with beautiful bright smiles and kindness. Ms. Gail is a breath of fresh air! She is genuinely so kind and warm hearted anytime I sit in her chair it’s like talking to family! She takes the time to listen to me and what I’m looking to do with my hair. I left so upset. Every grandma is very protective of her grandchildren and I'm no different. Kids at school can be so mean. This is why I gave two, very specific instructions regarding my grandson's haircut. Vanessa only listened to one and ignored the other. My grandson has a swirl cowlick on the crown of his head and also has to wear a retainer strap for his heavy glasses. The first things I told Vanessa, specifically, was to NOT cut the crown at all, not to even trim it. It took all summer to get it to the length that will finally lay down. I also specifically told her the back needs to be long enough to cover his eye glass strap. She started with the clippers and right up the back she went!
