G B S Threading Salon

When I go to other salons for facial waxing, they get the job done with only wax. At this salon, they did 2 wax strips then they started threading my entire face which I did not ask for. It was extremely painful and I had to stop before it was done. I now have severe bumps all over my face, which I have never experienced. Not empathetic or good service. Only plus here is cheap prices.

I had an amazing experience at GBS Threading Salon! I walked in at 6:55 PM, just five minutes before closing time at 7 PM. Despite the late hour, the staff went out of their way to help me. I was there on behalf of my wife, and we were happy to find a salon that not only accommodated us but provided exceptional service. My wife was thrilled with the results, and we left with smiles on our faces. GBS Threading Salon exceeded our expectations, and we're grateful for their outstanding service. Tried both locations in West Hartford over the course of months. Of the times I’ve left after my services, there were a hand full of time were I left happy(guest satisfaction). The workers are very kind and sweet… but unskilled. They burned my underarms (waxing) and still charged me full price. I went after a few days to show them the outcome of a botched waxing job, The lady just took a picture and apologized. Mostly importantly these ladies do not know what they are doing when it comes to eyebrow threading and want to impose their views of eyebrow shapes on the guest. I’ve been very clear about what I want for my eyebrows (I’ve been getting them threaded now for 10+ years) and only twice have either of the employees done them correctly. They are the kindest and most patient women! Have always loved getting my brows done here but after my nervous daughter got her ears pierced here, I'm a customer for life! Amazing!
