G & A Haircuts @ Hair It Is

Just had haircut with Tina. The fee was $35. She said she usually charges $50, but special for me. Really? I read reviews about how good she was, the fees were very affordable etc. But i wont be going back because for a very quick trim, short hair to short hair, i did not feel $35 is fair. Tina could not stop chatting and i feel her skill did not do anything for me. The towel she used to dust the hair off my face was some random dark towel grabbed off the counter. My regular place at Chabot Haircuts ($28)was busy so i thought i would support another stylist. Much regrets.

This is such a great place to get your hair done. She does exactly what you want, is honest and will tell you what works and what won’t. She works hard and is so nice and friendly. The prices are great too! Much better than other places I’ve been. I’ve always left happy

Went to dye my hair, I wanted my hair grey and the end result was just a bleached yellow. Sat there for 8 hours and didn’t even get the hair color I wanted. And few days after I had to went back to pay in cash because their card machine had a problem reading the card

TRAUMATIZING experience. A few months ago, I called and asked if they do Waxing and said Yes. I was skeptical but still went. I was led into a little room that had a small cot with a broken CCTV camera pointing towards the bed. This room was only covered with a shower curtain and was used as a storage room. I couldnt even get up to the cot without stepping some boxes underneath it. The waxing service was horrible, first used hot wax, and when she became impatient started using the wax that solidifies that dried like plastic. What an ordeal on someone’s private part and felt I was harassed!!! Been waxing my private parts for years but never had this experience. Save your sanity. Health inspectors should do an audit. Seriously. Dont believe the 4.6 rating!!!

She is very Professional and you get your hair done the way you want them! Perfect hair salon!!
