Amber is the best: she's thoughtful, communicative, and she's an expert when it comes to cutting hair. I've been going to her for about 4 years now and recommend her to all my friends. I lived in NYC for a decade and had some expensive haircuts, and Amber would give those guys a run for their money. She's great at working from reference photos and she's especially skilled at crating cuts that don’t require styling to look great. If that sounds like you I think you'll love her!

Amber was so great! My hair desperately needed a cut after 5 years, and I am very satisfied with the end result. My hair feels so much healthier and lighter. I love that they take Covid precautions and require masking. It made for a very pleasant experience. Thank you Amber!

Unfortunately, my experience yesterday at fringe 19 was not good. Dylan was my stylist and the entire appointment was awkward. She didn't greet me when I entered but just stood by her chair looking at me. I was left to assume she was my "stylist" for the day and sat myself in her chair. She again didn't speak, so I introduced myself. Every stylist I've seen in the past always asks something along the lines of "what are we doing with your hair today?" or similar. She did not. I was already uncomfortable and should have just left but pulled out my phone and showed her a picture explaining I'd like a blunt cut falling between the collarbone and armpit with some long curtains bangs to the bottom of the ear. She proceeded with a technique I've never experienced, and it felt like she didn't know

Today was my first visit to Fringe19. I was reluctant to ever sit in a stylist’s chair again after a recent regrettable experience. Amber is AMAZING! I was hoping for fine results, just so I wouldn’t have to tie my hair back forever to hide the, unrelated, botched job. She surpassed my expectations. I think I’ll let my hair down. Thank you so much Amber, it was more than just highlighting, it was color correction. I will be back. :)

Amber did a beautiful job on my blonde hair. She gave me very natural highlights, per my request. She was also efficient, while not seeming hurried at all, and I was in and out of there in just over an hour. I often spend two and a half hours or more hours when I go to Palm Desert and I actually like the color I got from Amber even better! The whole experience exceeded my expectations on every front.
