I traveled 45 minutes from Colts Neck, Tara is absolutely worth the trip! She is great to work with with - she made the process so easy, she's very responsive to messages and super knowledgable - she recommended the color and length for extensions, and they are perfect. I'm a business owner, and work long hours - she worked with my schedule, helped me pick out my ideal color, and had everything ready for the appointment. I love my hair, it exceeded my expectations - I've gotten so many compliments already. Can't wait for my next appointment! --Jenn

I had Tara and she treated me with the utmost respect during my time there. She walked me through the process of what she is going to do and how she was going to do my highlights to make sure it looks natural and wow it came out looking stunning. Payed $200 and it was worth every penny. Spend 3 hours there and even though it is a big salon, I felt like the only person in there because they really do take care of you. 100 recommend this place and Tara if you wish to look like a natural blonde beauty 😏

I had such a disappointing experience here and will never be returning. I booked my very first appointment with French Twist, but the way I was treated made me cancel before even trying their services. They claim they had called and texted me to confirm, but I never received any call or text. Instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt, the woman on the phone mocked me as if I was lying. When I answered her call from an unknown number the morning of my appointment, she immediately spoke with attitude, didn’t let me explain, and even hung up on me. When she called back, I told her I had something urgent come up but still planned to make my appointment. Instead of showing understanding, she made a snide remark like, “You have something urgent but you sound like you just woke up.” Yes, I

Will never come back here again. Made an appt to get a simple cut. The receptionist told me the girl who usually does my hair is pregnant and can't do blowouts so I will need to leave with wet hair or someone else will have to blow out my hair but I'll be charged extra which is ridiculous since I'm already paying for a wash, cut, and blow. I go to pay and they tell me the price since I was last there went up by $10 and they don't take cards anymore, so I would have to use their atm which charged me $3. I ended up paying over $100 for a service that was mediocre at best. Complete ripoff.

I just had a very weird experience with the person who answered the phone and haven’t even been there yet. There was a miscommunication vs canceling and rescheduling my appointment and the person thought I was yelling at her when I repeated that I wanted to reschedule not cancel. I even apologized twice for whatever misunderstanding she might have thought happened. The response I got was very abrupt.
