Frances African Hair Braiding

Wonderful! I went on a Tuesday and was out in 4 hours with butt length medium sized knotless with a peakaboo color. Loved my hair and aunties were nice. Going back again to see how it goes!

I have been coming to this salon for 3 years i am a black male with locs and even though I don’t come every 2 weeks like other people (I come about every 4 months ) before today I never let anybody else touch my hair . I usually only get it done by the lady who speaks the most English and negotiate the pricing assuming she owns or runs the place . Tell me how the first time I came she charged me 60$ for a retwist with braids(doubles ) and when I tipped her 10$ she looked at me like I was crazy . So I made sure to give her 100$ everytime she did me hair . Everytime ive gone there she washed my hair as if this was part of the service (read closely ) every time after my initial session I came and got my hair retwisted and braided and she would charge me 60$ and I would tip her $40 . Loved how my hair came out! The ladies did a fantastic job! One lady parted my hair while another braided it down. Took about 5 hours for this style and length on me. 4 stars because of the quoted time didn’t match what they ended up using and they didn’t update me with time. They originally told me they can start on me in 30 minutes and the style would take 2 hours. They didn’t start on me until over an hour later and then took about 5 hours to complete. They were busy/packed, but i would have left and came back when they were free instead of sitting and waiting there. And I figured it was going to take longer than two hours, but they should have corrected the time for me. Luckily i had nothing to do after. Other than that, good service, friendly ladies, and they provide the hair!

I got crochet braid patterns done here. I gave them a picture. And I verbatim told the braider. It doesnt have to be exact but i want the braids straight back in the front and across in the back because im doing a crochet style. Whn I got home I realized the braids were done too big. And when I politely called the next morning the owner refused to hear my complaint and blamed me. The darker hair pic is me...why the if somebody tell you they doing a crochet would you make the braids that big. I never said do the picture EXACT! it was just around what i wanted I try with black people I do...but she obviously hate herself...im trying to find someone PROFESSIONAL, that knows hair to do my protective styles if you see this review please help

This shop is amazing. They did a nice job on my daughter hair. Prices are reasonable. No complaints at all. Will come again for first day of school in September.
