Forever Polished Nail Bar

It has taken me my whole life to find a nail tech that I love and that loves doing her her job, art on nails! My girl Brianna a.k.a Bri is a true artist, she does excellent work. I truly believe the reason why she is so good is because she is very detailed, takes her time, and absolutely loves doing nails! Grateful for Forever Polished, for how kind they are and professional and fun, and for bringing in Bri on staff!

I’ve been trying nail salons all around the south Austin area and it’s been hard to find a good spot that pays attention to detail and takes their genuine time. Today I tried Forever polished as a walk in for a pedicure, got seated right away and was greeted nicely. The nail tech, that did my pedicure was amazing! I’m definitely coming back!

Today I visited this salon for a pedicure with my mom, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing due to the behavior and service of one staff member. From the moment I arrived, she did not greet or introduce herself and appeared irritated having to assist me. When she asked me to roll my pants leg up, her tone was rude and dismissive. Later, when I explained that my mom would pay for the pedicure and I would cover the gel polish separately, she reacted in a way that made me feel uncomfortable — as if I had made things complicated unnecessarily. I also want to note that after reading other negative reviews, I can honestly say I agree with them. My friend, her daughter and I all went in for some self care. Two stress relief pedicures and a classic pedicure. I had Lena who was amazing. The hot towels, massages and paraffin finish was just what I needed for my hikers feet. We also got our nails done. My friend and her daughter had a great experience with their technicians. Unfortunately, my technician was not trained in ombré nails and after a 20 minute struggle to get what should’ve been a simple request for purple ombré nails I ended up just going with a single acrylic color. I was a little disappointed after such an amazing pedicure, she put a single light layer of acrylic and one layer of top coat. The color I had chosen was sparkled so it wasn’t solid to begin with and she mixed it with a medium thinning it out even further. Y

I wasn’t impressed with my experience here. The prices didn’t match the quality of service, and I felt pressured to add on things I didn’t want. Once I declined, the atmosphere completely changed. I was rushed through my appointment and wasn’t even asked what shape I wanted for my nails, they didn’t clean off the excess polish. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience.
