Kai and the whole staff at northgate are absolutely incredible. Kai has been cutting my hair for a while now and I followed her to the northgate location from cinema point because I enjoyed having her cut my hair so much that I didn’t want to go to anyone else(even though I’m sure everyone at cinema point is also phenomenal). I’ve only ever had one other person who regularly cut my hair before Kai(this person also worked at Floyd’s) and when she moved out of town, Kai was her recommendation for me to start going to and I couldn’t be happier. She’s building an awesome team at northgate and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Jax is truly incredible. I trusted her to cut my hair short and give me a beautiful red color, and I am genuinely in love with the result. She took her time, listened closely, and made me feel completely at ease during the whole process. You can tell she cares about her work and the people in her chair. My hair feels healthier, brighter, and more like the version of myself I’ve been wanting to see. I walked out feeling confident and cared for. If you’re looking for someone with real talent and a genuinely kind spirit, Jax is the one. I’m so grateful for what she created for me.

Excellent haircut. The best I have had. My stylist was very personable and kept checking with me to make sure the work she was doing met my expectations.

This place got recommended to my friend and he has gone back twice now. Each time he has shown them pictures of exactly what he wants and the first time the lady that cut his hair said, “I don’t think that will look good”, and she left his hair longer than he wanted. He decided to give it one more try and go to a different person and this time he said EXACTLY what he wants and she said, “perfect I can do that”, and she cut WAAAAY more off the top than he asked for and had to pay $50 for a haircut that looked nothing like the pictures he showed. Very VERY disappointed with this place and will NOT be coming back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I’m visiting from out of state, and needed a quick and easy cut and trim for my hair and beard. I saw Floyd’s right next to my friend’s apartment, and decided to see what was up. I scheduled a haircut, beard trim, and shampoo and wash with Vinny, who was absolutely stupendous. Easy to talk to, and though I didn’t know exactly what I wanted out of a haircut, he was very patient and gave a recommendation that I am beyond pleased with. He showed a true mastery in his craft, while assisting in the choosing of a haircut, was able to complete the cut and beard trim in damn near record speeds. He then recommended me maybe the best pomade I’ve ever used in my entire life, this man just don’t miss. This establishment has a true talent in Vinny, and I have already recommended him to two of my friend
