First Boutique Nails

Today I came hoping to get my nail fixed that broke the next day after getting my full set. I was turned away once this week already (the day the nail broke) due to the nail tech not working on Mondays. Fine. Today, I arrived at 6:30pm (they close at 7pm and this is what worked with my schedule) with the same hopes only for the door to be locked while there are 2 women being serviced. Once I was finally acknowledged at being at the door, the front desk guy didn’t bother opening the door, so I asked through the glass “are y’all closed” and he proceeded to turn the opened sign to closed and walks away.

Update: after initial review things were great, however after more inspection I see my nails are so thick. The whole point of t.a.p gel is that it is light and airy. Mine are so thick. I think this is in part that the tap gel they had was old and gooey. They are not equipped for this. Their equipment is old. Their supplies are old. Just go here and then another salon. They work on the cheap. Hack is awesome but he belongs at a better salon. Unfortunately these places have deep family ties so his genius will never be recognized. Thick nail go here. Original: First time here. New to the area. I called for T.a.p. Gel. I think there’s only one person trained in this so to need to make an appointment. That person is the g.o.a.t. On tap gel. The original person that did mine in another area left

Moved to this side of town and finding a new nail home has been tough. But this is my second time here and I am very very very happy! I’m a simple girly, pedi and mani is all I get! Ms.Penny has hands of an angel and has taken care of my feet so amazingly. My feet feel great and look even better. Ms.Gina is so kind and carefully detailed with my hands. Don’t get me started on her neck/shoulder massage, truly wow! I seriously almost feel asleep when they both talked the massages! Everyone here is so welcoming and kind! Overall the establishment is very clean and I leave feeling so luxurious without hurting my bank account. Will be recommending this place to friends and family in the near future.

I usually get my nails done closer to home but visited recently with some friends to get our nails done for a wedding..I got dip on my nails (on a Sunday) and by Wednesday, 5 of my nails were chipped or broken off. When I went to my local place to get them fixed my technician said it looked like there was no base coat applied for the dip to adhere to and they used one or two layers of color rather than the manufacturer recommended 3 layers. The neck massage and pedicure was fine but I’m so disappointed in my manicure and the quality of work. They were also very pushy about add-ons so I ended up paying more than I wanted for work that does not feel worth it.
