Fine Plats Braiding Salon | Hair Braiding

Had an appointment at 9am Saturday. When I arrived at the salon. No one was there..parking lot was empty..open sign was off. I called this salon about 6 times and no answer. I get a call from the salon 40 minutes after my appointment, stating they were there and phone was mistakenly placed on silent, and they were parked behind building and just didnt have open sign on. By that time i had found another braiding salon. Fine Plats does great braids but this was the most unprofessional experience ever and I will not be back. Hate to give a poor review.

Don't ever come to this establishment. They are unprofessional and they don't know how to braid. I got my hair braided on July 4 and the braids started slipping out literally 7 days later. I went back to get the braids fixed and they stared slipping out again. The owner told me to come back on Saturday July 21 at 9am. When I get they tell me that they can't braid my hair because they didn't realize I had so many braids to fix. It is no way my braids should have came out this fast within 1 week. I will never patronize this establishment again in my life.

This place started off strong when it opened and now it's going down hill. When you schedule appointments, the person who is SUPPOSE to be doing your hair is never there on time. This place has let me down 3 times! Stylist comes in when they feel like it and it feels like you have to work on their time and not yours. This is bad for business and I hope they can step up their game again.

I visited this place on Sept 3rd for Senegalese twist and 2 days later they were unraveling and slipping out. I contacted the owner and she advised me to come back and let her “LOOK” at my hair. I could send photos to show the issue because the drive was too far for my hair to just be looked at. After speaking with Mary explaining that I have been getting this same exact style for many years, and that I knew my hair wasn’t tight enough. She stated that everybody hands are different and I cant expect the same tightness as other braiders. However, today makes exactly 4 weeks and my hair looks like it’s been up 4mths. I wish i could upload a photo. BUT DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON ALL EXCEPT ONE BRAIDER IS HORRIBLE. INCLUDING THE OWNER IS HORRIBLE!!

I love the service provided here even when the schedule may not go as planned, they communicate effectively! The owner has great social skills and makes you feel like family when you call to set an appointment. Definitely a great place to get Fine Plats and customer service!
