Fernando's Barber Shop

I want to begin by stating Mirely is very kind and offers wonderful customer service. However, her skills were not up to the level I expected or am used to for nail salons. I went for a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. In less than 24 hours of leaving her shop my nails are already smudged and look cruddy and “unfinished”. My gel manicure does not look smooth or sleek and has various air bubbles. And despite using my own nail (no tips or filler) there are slight gaps and I had to pick off the excess polish from around my fingers tips and under the tops of my nails. I am aware that part of the problem is that half way through she had to switch colors (because the color she used did not match the color I chose for my feet, which is another story) but rather than starting over (because of

One of the best haircut experiences I’ve had. Fernando accommodated me with a same day appointment shortly after I called to see if they accept walk ins. He did an excellent job on the haircut and was very personable, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommend Fernando’s barber shop if you want a great haircut along with great friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Wanted to get my haircut and am always nervous to try new barber bc a lot of places don't cut straight hair in harlem, but I went and it was great. It's a scissors cut. Not the best in the world but it's a good cut and very affordable. Also, Fernando and his wife are awesome. You know they gon' try and give a great service when it's a family biz. Will be going back.

Friendly and clean the whole family comes here. Men's and women's and also children's haircuts also where I get my nails done. We've been coming here for 3 years now and have no complaints. May want to call in for an appointment because they get packed fast. Husband and wife team family base business. Good place to go.

Hands down the best barber in NYC. Fernando and his wife have always been extremely welcoming and accommodating for haircuts for me and my husband. Sincerely, they are the most patient, hardworking, kindest, and nicest people ever. Not to mention, he's the only barber to ever close shave my whole head (old-school style) without ever giving me a nick or scar. Simply put, no one else is allowed to touch me or my husband's heads... PERIOD. "After each cut, he makes us whole again..."
