I’ve been to many salons throughout my life and unfortunately have every single time left without getting the results I wanted. I’ve even had some very negative experiences, including one where I lost about 15% of my hair. Because of that, I’m usually very cautious when choosing a salon. Today I visited Fernanda Beauty Salon, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted so warmly that I immediately felt comfortable. The service was truly wonderful. Vinny took care of me for several hours, taking the time to carefully work on my hair while also giving me helpful advice about how to care for it. The results were incredible. My hair looked like I had put my finger in a power outlet and got zapped. Literally, it was fried. Vinnie, Sophia, Lu, Fernanda, and the rest of the team made my hair look fabulous! I had a great experience at Fernanda Beauty Salon. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the salon itself is clean and relaxing. I went in for a blonde balayage, and the color came out beautiful, natural, and well-blended. Shelly took the time to understand what I wanted and was very attentive throughout the process. I really appreciated the care and attention to detail, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. Long overdue review, but Sophia is truly my most trusted hair stylist! She and everyone at the salon are so kind, welcoming, and friendly. It always feels like a luxury experience, from the warm towels to the beverages to the chocolate covered strawberries, they think of everything. I have long hair, and it’s always been hard to find a stylist I trust after moving to a new place, but Sophia has nailed it every single time. This visit, I asked for a more transformative cut: long curtain bangs, lots of face-framing, and long to short layers throughout. Sophia really listens to what you want and double-checks the length before cutting. After talking with her, we decided to leave the shortest bang layer slightly longer to account for shrinkage with my wavy hair, and it turned out perfect. It’

The service and stylists at Fernanda’s are incredible. Michelle is seriously the best – she's completely transformed my hair! If you're looking for a butterfly or layered cut, she absolutely kills it every single time. Being new(ish) to the Boston area, it took me a while to find 'my stylist,' but Michelle is my girl! Not only are her haircuts amazing, but she also spends time getting to know you and has incredible skill. As someone with super thick hair, I don't trust many people with it, but Michelle always leaves me loving my hair!
