Fatouma Hair Braid

Today, I had an appointment scheduled at 9 am. I get to the shop at that time and I’m told I have to wait for more braiders to come in. Finally at almost 11 o’clock the two braiders come in and start braiding my hair. They proceeded to tell me the style is 220 for small and that’s what I thought I was paying for. The type of hair I used, I brought my own hair, which cost me $200.. when she finally finished my hair around 3:30, I was in a rush to get home and I couldn’t really see the back in the middle of my head. I had to get my son off the bus at 3:30. I noticed that she sprayed a whole bunch of spritz on my $200 hair that I bought with my own money. Now my hair is sticky and stiff. On top of the braids being humongous in the middle. With my hair sticking all through the twist. so basic

I’ve been coming here to get my hair braided for a few years now, but some of the braiders here have been braiding me and my daughter’s hair for well over 10 years. They do really good work and this place is more affordable than other braiding shops. M Myrtle Beach can’t find her I said what do you mean they can’t find her I said I my She went to hi Because she The past Jon came to my house that were in Myrtle Beach. The girls wouldn’t answer their phone.

AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. We all say we want to support small busniesses, yet this was a slap in the face and we will direct all our businesses to those who respect people's time and hard earn dollars. A small word of advice to the ladies in this shop- you never know who is sitting in your chair, treat each customer with the utmost respect. My young lady had a 10am appointment, she arrived 10 minutes early, there was another client in a chair with one singular braid in (just started). The woman (owner of the shop I suppose) got on the phone to call someone in to help. This person shows up 30 minutes later, starts my young ladies hair. A customer walks in; she leaves my young lady to start the walk-in's hair. After she came back to my young lady, she leaves again for 25 minutes break t

Don't even think about booking an appointment here because once you arrive you will be sitting down for 30 minutes to an hour just to get in a chair. Once you can't wait anymore and walk out they will chase after you then ask you to come back to wait. These people seem to only know how to do box braids and kinky twists. Came here for regular French braids for my daughter and they just didn't know how to do it , the braids looked like they were braided 3 weeks ago and weren't neat, it was rushed. And they overcharge. I told them I refuse to pay for subpar work, the lady got upset and asked me to take it down, which is unprofessional. So if you're looking to come here for Knotless braids, French braids, or any other style besides box braids and kinky twist, don't come here! They don't know h

If you want knotless, go somewhere else. I said over and over again remember I want knotless and I got box braids in the majority of my head. I don’t think they know how to do knotless here. I heard many requesting it and that is not what they were doing. Thinnest pieces of your hair they use around the edges with that gel to braid. I took all those out when I got home. I overall was not happy with the services here. Started off with someone that was fairly new (she was nice) but no. I gave 2 stars and not 1 because the lady that ended up coming in and worked/finished my hair was fast and got me done. But I can tell she had an attitude when she came in based off what was passed on to her by the others in the shop. Oh well.
