Fatou African Hair Braiding

Very weird and unprofessional experience. I called the day before and spoke directly to the owner, who told me it would be $50 just to part my hair so I could go home and braid it myself, and told me to come in at 9 a.m. I showed up at 9 a.m. like she said, woke up early and used my gas, just for the owner to not even be there. There was only one assistant working, even though 3–4 other people also showed up with 9 a.m. appointments. I don’t understand how one person is supposed to handle four clients at the same time. When I explained what I was told on the phone, the assistant had to call the owner, and suddenly the price was changed to $100. The assistant didn’t even tell me directly — she had to tell the owner she “wouldn’t do it for $50,” which was very strange and unprofessional. P

My friend had such a frustrating experience at a braiding shop today. She was told to come at 9 a.m. and when she got there, there was one assistant and four people with the same appointment time. On top of that, the price she was quoted doubled once she arrived. Super unprofessional.

They told me the price over the phone and when I got up there she wanna change the price cause of how thick my hair is. Never again!!!!

Do not go here I wanted micro braids, and the girl did not know what she was doing. I think she was new after a couple days of them coming out. I cough do and told her and she acted like she didn’t remember me being there. She wanted me to come back in and she would redo them, I think sitting there for eight hours was enough and I don’t wanna go back. I called her and asked for a refund. They don’t give refunds. Please find another one to do your hair. This place is horrible.

I had a wonderful experience at Fauto Braiding Shop on November 10, with no waiting time. The price was quoted over the phone, and I was able to select the style I wanted in advance. For the past 11 years, I’ve consistently received excellent service from this shop without any concerns. Like any braiding shop, there may be times when waiting is unavoidable, depending on the hairstyle and the amount of hair a person has. However, patience is key, as you can trust that once you’re in the chair, you’ll receive the same level of care and attention—or even better—than you expect.
