Fantastic African Braids

Came here on whim and desperate because I needed my hair done before Sunday, it’s Friday! I preferred my hair braided that day. It was already late! 7:45 pm to be exact, I saw the ladies walking out and asked for an early appointment for Saturday. They offered to braid my hair then and there. Started at 8pm by 11pm I was out the door! I love these ladies! Prices were reasonable too!!

This place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called about getting my hair done, no answer so I left a message. She called me back and scheduled me to come this morning at 10:30. I called her before I came to the shop to confirm my appointment again. I get to the shop to be told nobody told me about doing your hair. This is my only appointment for today, then she turns to her client and starts laughing "I'm hungry". I drove an hour and a half away to support this Black owned Business, to be laughed at and turned away! This is sad for our own people to disrespect is for trying to support them during this pandemic 😩

Really horrible experience. I left before the service even started. The owner is very rude and disrespectful not to mention unorganized. I’ve had experience with multiple “African braiders” and even in Africa itself, this was the worst. Actually a very traumatic experience and I don’t say that lightly. Have you ever been chastised while sitting in a chair after waiting almost 2 hours for your hair appointment ? Waisted a whole morning. Do not go there. Save headache and money. I should have left when I saw another unsatisfied customer leave prior to my visit.

I got my hair braided this past Saturday! I got so many compliments on it. The salon Is not extravagant but it's decent. The price was good and she was sweet. Plus she was FAST! I am definitely going back! Looking for a simple shop with good braiders, hit them up 👍🏾

I love going there. My hair is beautifully done. And it is done in a timely manner. The atmosphere is pleasant, friendly, and comfortable. I will not go to anyone else to do my hair Fantastic African Braids is the place to get all kinds of braids done.
