I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted at the Avalon location. Toward the end of my appointment I was asked when the last time I exfoliated was (which was 2 days prior). The artist communicated to me that next time I may benefit more from threading because my skin was looking a bit “raw” on one side of my face. I accepted the feedback and when I initially saw my brows in the mirror I didn’t have my glasses on, so from what I saw I thought they looked great. Which is what I communicated to my brow artist. When I got in the car and inspected them further I realized they were a lot thinner than I asked them to be. I also noticed the patch of skin that she was referring to that looked a bit raw. She’s so sweet, and also the first person to ever wax my eyebrows and safe to say, I hope to continue to have them done by her! Definitely ask for Marlenne- she knows brows! Seriously, soo good! I’ve never had a lamination done before so wasn’t sure what to expect but they look amazing, they look like my eyebrows just thicker and very natural- I’m not sure where she found all the hair but she did some magic! Marlenne knows what she’s doing and is confident in her work. She’s meticulous and you can tell she’s very detailed with a steady hand, making my experience calming and comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back to keep up with my new brows!!
