Extreme Tan of Groton

I’m from out of state and decided to try this place out and I’m so glad I did! The lady that checked me in was super nice, the equipment was great, and everything was very clean. Such a good experience, I highly recommend!

I love it here. Unfortunately, they aren't open on Sundays, and that's really the only time I am able to get there. My package there has been open for almost 2 years. I wish they would expand their hours and open up on Sunday morning for a few hours so that we people with only sundays off can enjoy the beds as well.....

I have had the opportunity to meet Jay some 20 years ago when he was just starting out. I had just started my business as well so we had an opportunity to share the experience. Right off I knew this is a man that cares about his business and customers. Throughout the years I have tanned at both his Westerly and Groton locations and feel I have always been treated well by both Jay and his staff. He is always friendly and I do not go anywhere else because of Jay. Thanks for everything Jay!

So I have been looking for a tanning salon here local to Groton and I have to say. I have not stopped in yet, however, PURELY based on the owners replies to negative reviews I will definitely be choosing this specific salon. I worked in customer service for over 6 years and to see someone reply as I would reply in these circumstances is hilarious. Thank you for making me laugh while reading these responses. I’ll stop in on Memorial Day if y’all will be open!

Please don't delete my review Jay. People need to know who they're giving their business to. To the owner of the White Toyota Tundra, License plate Number XTAN-1 (who just so happens to be the owner of the Extreme Tan salon in Groton), I am speaking directly to you. On August 26th, 2020 you and I had some what of an..."incident". To summarize I was going to the local grocery store to pick up a few things and began parking in one of the parking spaces close to the entrance. As I began to back into the space, I thought to myself "man this truck is parked awfully close to the line, I better move over a bit so he has enough room to get in his truck". So I did, and when I got out of my car, I noticed that you were parked over two parking spaces. Ehh...no big deal though, I tried to move over
