exhale Spa at Thompson Central Park, NYC

First time trying barre and Rachel was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She made me feel comfortable right away. The studio is clean, cozy, and well kept, with lockers available which is always a plus. I’ve been to a lot of studios in NYC where instructors can feel a bit cold or sassy, and Rachel was the complete opposite — so kind and encouraging. The class was definitely challenging but not impossible. Overall great vibes and a clean, inviting space. Would recommend even if you’ve never tried barre before.

Very clean and well kept spa! I love the range of amenities available and it is very reasonably priced. The woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Leslie, was very sweet and attentive. She made me feel welcomed right away. 10/10 would come back again

The spa is absolutely beautiful and the staff is super friendly! They have a dry bar, fitness center, yoga, barre class and a bunch of spa services to choose from. Everything is super clean! They have showers/sauna and the lounge/quiet area is so relaxing with healing teas. All of the therapists are very talented and knowledgeable. They have the best membership options too! I’m so happy I found Exhale Spa! ❤️

This hidden gem in the hotel is a true find! Check-in was seamless, and the massage was absolutely incredible. The front desk staff is highly professional and friendly. I can't wait to return before my stay ends. I really hope they add a steam room here soon—this place has so much potential!

I felt misled on pricing as I bought a "holiday deal package gift card" that they would then not let me use promos with. This was misleading. Someone named Ann who claimed she was the owner or manager and didn't want to give her name told me that "this is a luxury spa" which was rude. I had been emailing with them for about three weeks to schedule a massage with the promo which I had waited for patiently, and they never got back to me. Callbacks weren't made and even with all this they refused to honor the promo price with the gift card. I was even told that someone was working on having management approve it and then that didn't happen and that person never got back to me either. This was a misleading promo. There is no accountability here, starting from the top. Very stressful experience
