Excel Hair Salon

I’ve been going to this hair salon literally for decades! It’s wonderful and I recommend it to all of my friends. I’m always so happy with the results be it color, highlights, or a haircut. Mambo (the owner) and all his hair dressers are excellent. No need to travel downtown or around the city. Excel truly is terrific. (p.s.I do not tend to write reviews…only when I feel extremely positively about a product or a service.

Went for a simple wash/cut and it was $41.20 with the walk in special. Everything was simple and fast. Also apparently they’re cool with dogs inside as I got my hair washed next to this pup

Johnny has been cutting my hair for 20 years. Any time I've gone to someone else, I've regretted it! Friendly, laid back salon too. Never had an issue with anyone.

Maria is INCREDIBLE. I’m so picky with my hair and I’ve never had a stylist who executes my requests so flawlessly. She’s so kind and extremely talented! I will only go to her for my hair cuts (butterfly cut) and she’s styled my hair for events, absolutely beautiful, AND it lasts which is so rare for my hair! The day she stops cutting hair is the day I stop getting my hair cut!!!!

I’ve been getting haircuts for my daughter and me at this establishment for several years. We always leave very satisfied and happy with our hair. Johnny cuts our hair, but we have once tried another when Johnny was away( a woman) and she was also very good.
