Now.. a 5 star review for a nail salon has never happened for me. I have sadly been dissatisfied more than I’ve been pleased with nail salons. But here at Essex Nail Spa I actually loved my nails so much I had to leave a review. I WISH I got the lady’s name who did my nails because she was amazing. They took me as a walk in right away and the woman who did my nails really took her time with me and they came out PERFECT!! Nail shape is important to me because I like them short, but my fingers are a little on the sausage side.. lol. So shaping is important to help create the illusion of longer, slimmer fingers. So mad! I just got home from getting my nails done. They really messed them up! The girl who did them I honestly believe she had no idea what she was doing. She had one of those electric buffers and buffed my skin because she slipped or something and it hurt! Then when she had the other block shaped buffer/file she slipped again! And filed the side of one nail wayyyy too much so it looks so weird! And it hurts like when you cut your nails too short. Definitely not worth $50. I'm all about supporting local and new business but never again. It's been about 2 hours and I'm still sore! They did look clean so that is good. They also seemed like very nice individuals. However, I'm still not going back.

Super happy to have this nail spa in town! I got a friendly greeting on a Tuesday morning when I walked in for a manicure. The salon was bright, clean, and new. The manicure chair was very comfortable, and the pedicure chairs look amazing. I was offered a beverage during my service. There are plexiglass panels between you and the manicurist. Masks are optional. The manicure included lotion-lined gloves with a warm steamed towel. And I got a shoulder massage at the drying counter. Not only did my hands look great, but they were also soft and smelled wonderful! Looking forward to trying a pedicure soon!

Excellent!! Vero did a fantastic job on my pedicure and manicure! I got the mini spa pedicure and the amount of dead skin she got off was mind boggling. I feel like I have brand new feet! The regular manicure I had was perfection. She checked with every step of the process- did I like the shape, did I like the color- before moving on and it was sooooooooooo appreciated. The price is absolutely reasonable for the service you receive! Could not be happier I stopped in.

I came in as a walk in client and was pleasantly greeted by who I assume is the owner? I decided to get the gel manicure 💅 it was 100% worth the $ - the nail tech genuinely spent time getting my cuticles properly . It wasn’t rushed. She overall just took her time and did a beautiful job for what she had to work with - I’ve been biting my nails since I was a child and am in process of trying to stop . I was brought over a cup of hot tea . I will be a return customer and refer many others . Wonderful experience and can’t wait for my next appointment
