Essentia Body Therapy

My boyfriend got me a massage for my birthday and Omgosh was the staff ever accommodating!!! We got there a few minutes late but the staff was so polite and sweet and did whatever they could to make the experience as best as possible in the time we had! They gave us champagne to toast as a sweet treat after my massage! And Lisa my masseuse was amazing! She was so friendly, she’s great with her hands, I feel so relaxed and ready for my birthday weekend!! If I could give them more stars I would! And the lady at the front desk, a sweet blonde I didn’t catch her name was honestly the cherry on top for the whole experience!!

My wife and I got a couples massage here. Yesenia did my massage and she was absolutely fantastic. I described to her one time the kind of pressure I preferred and she modulated it for different parts of the body. After the massage my wife was almost freeing me that I kept falling asleep and waking up with a little snore. That how relaxed Yesenia had me. Highly recommend!!!!

I had a massage recently by Lisa here at Essentia Body Therapy and she was wonderful. This massage was everything my mind, body and spirit needed. She always communicates about level of pressure and what she's doing to which muscles. And the "glute stretch" she offers is a stretch needed if you're like me and never stretch your body. So it was a massage and stretch with no soreness the next day. This is the best place in Santa Cruz for sure.

We used Essentia for chair massages at a women's retreat. I can't say enough good things about it. Kayla, the owner, was very responsive and helpful in planning. We had three therapists for a three hour block. Laura, Bryan, and Poppy were on time, flexible, and responsive to everyone's individual needs. No one felt rushed, even though it was a 15 min massage per person. The ladies raved about it all weekend. Multiple participants plan to drive from Silicon Valley to the spa in Santa Cruz for massages. They made our weekend perfect! Highly recommend them to make your event memorable.

Jessica and Poppy were amazing for our wedding anniversary! Was so happy we were able to get away and have a relaxing time at the spa. They take care of you and are so warm and friendly with great customer service. Both of our massages were so relaxing! We can’t wait to come back.
