It’s been a while since I’ve come here, as I’ve been going to another salon that I love. They were closed today, and I needed a quick service, so I decided to come here. My hair was already washed — I just needed it straightened. When I walked in, I asked what the price would be. One of the ladies said $25. I repeated, “$25?” and she confirmed. When it was time to pay, another lady suddenly said $47. I pointed to the lady who gave me the original quote, and the owner started loudly speaking in Spanish, saying $45. I calmly told her not to raise her voice at me and reminded her that I was quoted $25. I don’t have an issue with the $45 — I had the funds. The issue is the attitude, tone, and lack of honesty. The lady who quoted me $25 tried to switch it up, saying I had “a lot of hair.” She

I went in with short natural thin curly hair, asked them 3 times if they could do a retouch on my blondes color, they said yes Mami maybe 10 times. When she they finished my hair was falling out, it was wrong color, it was completely straight. I was devastated. She said the color would be free and she wants to give me a damn blowout.. I was in and out in less than an hour. I went for a wash condition and blow dry. She even added some spiral curls to my hair. My hair is natural and they charged me $45. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 bc the special said $20 until they realized my hair is natural and not chemically straightened 😒

I was natural with thick curly hair, my hair has since fallen out since ive gotten it blown out. I believe they have some type of perm or chemical in their shampoo. My hair comes out in literal clumps. I don’t think they are African American friendly. I also have soft hair so I would have NEVER asked for chemicals in my hair.. I’m devastated at the outcome. The health department or whoever needs to come take a look and test some of their products. I just want my curls and my hair back!!!
