Sort of or more like did let my hair become out of control. The last haircut was the first week during March, and it is now October 24. Scheduled an appointment with Christy B. Very relaxing hair wash, always love that part. Great conversation while explaining her vision. Definitely, shall return and will not be waiting 8 months either.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon and the incredible women who work there. After an unfortunate experience at another salon left me with a severe mat in my hair, I reached out to one of their stylists, desperate for help. Without hesitation, she told me to come in as soon as I could, and when I arrived, I wasn’t just met with skilled hands and professional expertise—I was met with love. Every stylist took time out of their busy schedules, sacrificing their own breaks, simply to help me. For two days, they worked tirelessly, trying everything they could to free my hair from the tangled mess, all while showering me with reassurance, patience, and good laughs that I so desperately needed. I've lived on the island over 26 years and tried many salons in that time. I've been with Rachel, the owner, for years before she even opened Enlighten, 15 years in all. This very upscale salon is far above any other salon in professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, quality, and cleanliness all with a group of very talented ladies. One review claimed they were treated rudely. I simply can't imagine anyone in this salon ever being rude. That's why they win the Best Salon On The Island year and year. Enlighten is simply the best!

Katie is a wonderful stylist! Allow her to recommend a "just right for your type" hairstyle. My cut allows me to skip days!! I simply run a brush through and , voila! It looks terrific. Don't hesitate scheduling an appointment with her.
