I have been a client at Elvin's for more than 25 years now. I worked with El Presidente (now retired) and now with Elvin. I could not be happier. The quality of the haircuts is amazing and the pricing more than fair. The shop has an old school New York charm. Got get more than an haircut, you get an experience! After all this time, I feel like I am visiting family each time I get a haircut. Thank you for everything you do, Elvin and colleagues!

Worst Barber Ever – Jose Completely Ruined My Hair I’m beyond furious right now. I asked for something so simple — a #4 on the sides and to keep it long on top. I even repeated myself twice, just to be clear: don’t cut too short. What does Jose do? He chops off way more than I asked for and leaves my hair so thin that it now sticks straight up. It’s honestly unbelievable how someone can mess up such a basic request. And when I tried to explain the problem, this guy had the nerve to tell me “don’t worry, just use gel.” Stay far, far away from Jose. Save your time, your money, and your hair.

I’m a girl with a skin fade with a slightly longer top. My hair is kind of my thing, and I religiously maintain my look with weekly barber cuts. I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and found Elvin. I’m probably the only girl who goes there, but he’s very welcoming. Best of all, he is precise and deliberate. He gets my fade perfect every single time! Highly recommend this shop and Elvin if you can get him.

I took my son here to fix a bad haircut he got in Houston. Elvin did an amazing job—very thorough and kind. If we lived in NYC, we would be here every week.

BOOK W JUSTIN! he go crazy w any hair texture. (I’m white guy straight hair 😂) fades/blends be on point every time. Whole shop is good vibes and everybody walks out happy w a good cut from all the barbers.
