Elm Studio by Launch Salon

I have been going to Nicole for years now and love absolutely everything about her services. Her salon is so serene and I love looking at nature while I'm getting my treatments. She is a hair stylist, and excellent at doing hair of course. But I truly feel like she does way more than that. I always leave there feeling somewhat healed in a way as well. She's different because she's very knowledgable on scalp and hair health, using a microscope to look at hair follicles to really dive deep into what is going on. I also love the products she uses - they're healthy for my skin and hair and smell amazing. I've also brought my daughter there for highlights and they turned out so subtle and perfect, just like what we were hoping for.

This salon is magic. Tucked into the woods among the pines, it immediately feels like a calm escape. Nicole’s knowledge of scalp health and hair care is incredible, but what really makes this place special is how she creates space for you to settle mentally, physically, and emotionally. She tailors each appointment to exactly what you need, and you leave not only with healthier, beautiful hair but also with a lighter spirit and clearer mind. It’s rare to find somewhere that refreshes both your hair and your soul.

Elm is a place of pure magic. ✨ She intricately weaves her craft with passion & intention. It’s an experience each time in her chair where you feel embraced, seen & valued. She strives to learn and she eagerly explores every modality to bring her clients a quality experience. “It’s in the details” for her. This studio is nestled in the woods where you can see wildlife, sip on a lavender latte and forget about the world.

Had an awesome experience. Rachel cut and dyed my hair and it turned out phenomenal! All the gals that worked there were very friendly and helpful. I’m definitely coming back here and recommending them to everyone!

I've tried a few different salons in GR and Launch is BY FAR the best. I love going from one extreme to the next. Every time I have visited a salon I would literally tell them "Do what you want!". I have always left disappointed and with an average, safe haircut. When I first went to Launch (about a year ago), I told Rachel that she could go all out! She was the first stylist with ideas for the visit AS WELL AS future visits. She started with my dark, boxed dyed, red hair and we slowly went to blonde, to pink, and now blue! I've never felt so at home and respected as I have at Launch! They take their time, give you ACTUAL expectations, and always have you coming out with FANTASTIC hair! LOOOOOOVE these girls!!
