Elegant Nails

I drove here to get my nails only painted because they take walk-ins, or at least the website seems to say that. I pull in around 12:30-1:00pm and I go to open the door and it’s locked, so I just briefly peak in through the window and there are people in there getting their nails done! So I try knocking on the door and it catches this man’s attention and he walks up to the door and points away mouthing “go, go” and I try and ask if they are open and he just keeps pointing saying “go, leave, go” so I say, eager to get my nails done lol, that there are others inside and it said that they were open and I just wanted to know what was going on and the man turned away from me and walked back to where he was originally standing next to what looked like somebody else getting their nails done. They always do a nice job and Mr. Gives the best pedicures! I don't like pedicures and rarely get them bc my feet are too sensitive. When I have to I know he is gentle.

I’m visiting from out of town and came to this salon in Augusta, ME around 9:30am to get my mother’s nails done. We walked in without being greeted, so I spoke first. When I said my mother needed a manicure, the man quickly replied, “We’re completely booked.” I asked when they might have availability, and he said, “We don’t have any openings today, tomorrow, or next week. It’s just the two of us—no openings.” The customer service was dismissive and unwelcoming. If they don’t have the capacity for walk-ins, they shouldn’t advertise that they accept them. The experience felt uncomfortable—possibly even discriminatory.

I love my nails! She did an amazing job and paid attention to detail. I will be going back. :)

Tina and Trong do a great job at a great price. Where else could I get gels for just $20? You must schedule appts because they are quite busy
