Hunter Furr has a rare gift for making you feel like your own icon — never overdone, always refined through her distinct artistic eye. I’ve trusted her with my hair (and my confidence) for eight years, and the compliments have been constant. Her work is thoughtful and tailored, with an attention to detail that makes everything feel effortless yet elevated. Just as impressive is her presence, she intuitively knows when to engage, when to offer quiet, and how to hold space without intrusion. Time in her chair feels restorative. I recently moved away and realized I’d never left a review, which hardly reflects how exceptional she’s been. While the salon itself can be lively, she maintains a calm, grounded energy that sets her apart. I’m honestly surprised she hasn’t ventured out on her own!

AVOID!! The last photo included was the inspiration photo shown to the stylist. I arrived with a mildly grown out version of the same cut, tone and highlight as the inspo photo. I expressed wanting to be put with a stylist skilled in working with curly brunette hair. I was placed with Cindy. I explicitly shared with Cindy on 3 occasions, I prefer subtle and natural, NOT chunky or striped highlights. I also requested only one inch be trimmed, Cindy took easily 3-4inches. As you can see in the caped photo (later taken by my emergency stylist) the “layers” were more of a hacked shelf, not blended and crooked! I had a great cut and balayage from Daisy. She listened to what I envisioned and brought it to life. I was complemented by multiple people as I was leaving the salon. Would definitely recommend.

I have been getting my hair done recently by Maddy S. at ego hr on robinhood and I could not be more happy with it! Whether it has been highlights or a cut, it has always looked so amazing afterwards. Maddy Is an excellent stylist and always has made me feel very comfortable during appointments. After several bad hair experiences, I am so happy that I finally found a place that I can go and feel confident that I will leave happy!
